This page explains what information DigitalSmia collects when you use digitalsmia.no, why, and what rights you have. We keep it as simple as possible – because we collect as little as possible.
In short
We do not track you. No analytics, no ad networks, no tracking cookies.
We only ask for information you give us yourself – when you send a request.
We never sell your information on.
Who is responsible
DigitalSmia is the data controller for the information collected on this site. If you have any privacy questions, or want to exercise your rights, reach us at kontakt@digitalsmia.no.
The contact form
When you send a tool request, we collect your name, email address, phone number and what you write about your needs (tool type, budget, timeline and description).
We use this for one thing: to reply to you and, where relevant, prepare a quote. The message is sent to us by email through our provider Resend, and stays in our inbox for as long as we need it to follow up your enquiry.
Cookies
We use a single cookie, and it only remembers which language you chose (Norwegian or English). It is necessary for the site to work and therefore needs no consent. We use no cookies for tracking or marketing.
Who we share with
We do not share your information with anyone beyond the services we need to run the site: Resend handles our email (data stored in the EU), and Vercel is our hosting provider. Both are data processors that only handle information on our behalf.
Your rights
You have the right to see what information we hold about you, to have it corrected or deleted, and to withdraw consent. Email kontakt@digitalsmia.no and we will sort it out.
If you believe we handle information incorrectly, you can complain to the Norwegian Data Protection Authority (datatilsynet.no).
